From Feed Barn to Third Place
Most restaurants pick a design style and build outward from it – reclaimed wood here, a mural there. Salty Horse didn’t have to invent much of anything: the building came first. Before it poured a single Hawaiian Cowboy Latte, the address on Newport Boulevard was a 1938 feed barn restaurant Costa Mesa didn’t yet know it needed.
