Sunrise on the Patio: Our Favorite Breakfast Order
If we had to eat one breakfast for the rest of our lives, it would be this one: out on the shaded patio, dog asleep under the table, the marine layer just starting to burn off.
The order
Start with a For the Wanderer: andouille, eggs, sourdough, tater tots, and a cilantro olive-oil drizzle that ties it all together. Add a Hawaiian Cowboy latte and a side of whatever fruit came in that morning. That is the whole move.
The best seat
Grab the corner two-top under the fig tree. It gets the morning light without the glare, it is close enough to the counter for a refill, and it is the unofficial dog-greeting station. Walk-ins always welcome, but weekdays before ten are the quiet magic.
Coffee in hand, coast waking up. Come find your seat.
